Weir Farm is now owned by the Federal Government and managed by the National Park Service. The original owner of the farm was J. Alden Weir, a noted artist of the late 19th century. Interestingly enough, the next two owners were also artists. You can see the beauty that was Connecticut of their time reflected in their at work.
