Nicola Tesla was one of my speech subjects in high school Speech class. My subject matter was based on my own tastes even at that age of 18. Nicola Tesla was one of my earliest memories in jr. high. Lost in the dim recesses of history to a bare mention (if at all) to even less in the minds of the general public, he was a man who invented the Alternating Current (AC) but still dies alone and nearly broke in a hotel room. Well, his name has been attached to one of the most ambitious productions yet...a car maker who threw out the internal combustion engine and replaced it with a battery and electric motor. Tesla Motors proves they had the creativity mirrored from their namesake, meeting every challenge head on and overcoming mechanical, engineering and performance issues with an all electric car. And they did it!
