The Westinghouse 26" HDTV is a fantastic viewing quality high definition LCD television at a great price. Searching the internet for a comparably priced high definition television did not come up with many in the same $600 price range. The ones that did were not very comparable to this fully featured liquid crystal display television.

I received the high definition 26" TV and found a confusion of plug in connections on each side of the rear section of the TV. This is a great way to position the rear connections so your cables do not stick out the back but come along the rear of the TV from a section of the back of the TV that is thicker than the two areas on each side. The two sides of the rear section has each section of logically placed input and outputs so you can easily connect your TV to your home entertainment center, speakers, antenna or cable and console or PC systems.

The SK-26H240S 26" television comes with the TV and removable base, several pamphlets and guides, the power cord, remote with batteries and a good screwdriver to install the base. After removing all the protective plastic and foam pieces I set up the TV and started it up. I do not have any special high definition antennas but do have a HD add on card for my PC and have been messing around with reception and such with that. The base is easily removable and you can even mount the television on a wall or other surface using a wall mount that can be purchased separately.

Using my regular analog antennas, I have two for better reception of different channels, I was able to receive not only my regular local analog channels but a host of digital channels. High definition is fantastic and this TV brings in the channels with such clarity and quality that there is no need to adjust the image when you first turn it on. I have not adjusted any of the settings from the default except to play around with them. The default looks very good and just using the different settings such as the color temp works well.
