Review of the Applebees in West Greenville, South Carolina

My husband wanted to take me out to eat for Mother's Day, and we ran into a problem of which restaurant to choose. We were looking for something specific with several outstanding qualities. Our requirements were: quick service, delicious food, a restaurant that a 3-year old would enjoy, clean restaurant, and many options including healthy choices. We decided to try Applebees this year. Applebees is a family restaurant chain located throughout the United States. They all seem to share the same menu, but vary by location as to the atmosphere and service. We chose the Applebees located on White Horse Rd on the west side of Greenville, South Carolina.

Upon arriving at Applebees, I thought for sure there would be a long wait, since I noticed huge groups of people both outside the restaurant and in the lobby. I was pleasantly surprised to find there were several tables for two open that would nicely accommodate my husband, my son, and me. We were seated immediately. Later, we observed that most of the people outside were together waiting for one large section to clear out. My son was given a paper menu with some crayons to keep him occupied and happy. The hostess and servers at the Applebees on White Horse Rd were very pleasant and friendly. Our meals were served hot, and our strawberry lemonades were kept filled. Our waitress even asked us if we wanted some lemonade "to go" as we were preparing to leave at the end of the meal. That was definitely going the extra mile.
