Simple Tips for a Super Sedu Hairstyle
The sleek look of the Sedu hairstyle is everywhere. Even my teenage daughter is fighting to get her natural waves out of her hair each day to achieve that straight and soft look of the Sedu hairstyle. How to get her hair super
straight, super shiny, and keep her hair super healthy has been our quest. My daughter and I have come up with a few helpful tips to show how to get a super Sedu hairstyle.
First tip for a super Sedu hairstyle is to never, ever use the straightening iron on wet hair. This can cause severe breakage and damage to your hair. This breakage will make your hair unhealthy and frizzy. After washing your hair and conditioning with a good conditioner, towel dry it well, then use the blow dryer until completely dry. The blow dryer also helps make your hair look shiny. It is a good idea to use a leave-in conditioner or apply a heat activated protective spray to your hair before blow-drying for some extra insurance. Use a round brush to straighten your hair as much as possible through the drying process. This will get you "ahead of the game" when it comes time to use the straightening iron.
Make sure to keep the heat on your straightening iron consistent; most importantly, don't let it get too hot to where it scorches your hair. Don't try and straighten too much hair at a time. My daughter finds that piecing her hair in about 2 inch sections works best for her and provides for the best results. She uses a slow, consistent movement when sliding the straightener down her hair and keeps it on her hair for the least amount of time necessary to get the result she is after.
