Bored to Tears - In Fisherman Magazine

If you like fishing, you know how addictive this sport is. You try to spend every possible hour at the lake, and then away from it, you are planning on what side of it you are going to fish next. Fishing is actually an obsession, and its a hobby that will require you to adapt your techniques, in order to guarantee positive results. There are all kinds of issues to consider, when going after certain fish, and a lot of it comes down to plain luck.

When not out at my favorite spot, I'm playing a fishing game on my Playstation 2. If I'm away from the house, I'm reading one of many fishing and hunting periodicals that I subscribe to. One of these is In Fisherman, which I've been receiving for almost a year. There are eight issues per year, and the cost is $12.00. Sometimes you can get a free gift with a paid subscription, such as a free hat or DVD. You can order on line at their web site, or use on of their forms thats in each issue. The news stand price is $3.99, so it does make sense to have it delivered to your house, to save at least a few hard earned dollars for some new lures.

What is a walleye? I thought that this is what my boss used in the office, to monitor my level of productivity. For some reason, this magazine is obsessed with this fish, instead of the usual bass and catfish of other publications. I wish that these articles could generate some excitement, as there are only two in the lake I fish in.(At least I'm convinced of this) The magazine claims that this fish is an aggressive feeder, but the ones in my fishing spot are just plain lazy. I disagree with the fascination of this species, as while they taste decent, they aren't the gourmet fish that the magazine claims them to be.
