Adolf Hitler said something very similar and then he became a dictator. The difference between a dictatorship and a democracy is that in a democracy the leaders are elected by the masses. A dictator comes to power by seizing the office through force, being appointed by an elite, or by assuming power, for example, through a fixed election. Sound familiar? The similarities between George W. Bush and Adolf Hitler are both frightening and astounding.
For starters, the Bush family has ties to Nazi Germany. The family tree can be traced back as recently as Prescott Bush, George W. Bush's grandfather, to find the tie. Prescott Bush managed to get into a bit of trouble back in the 1940's. Prescott Bush was a partner in Brown Brothers Harriman and was also one of the proprietors of the Banking Corporation Union. Both of these companies played a key role in financing Hitler on his way to power in Germany. While the American soldiers were fighting the Nazis in World War II, Prescott Bush's companies were seized under the Trading with the Enemy Act because they were selling fuel to and laundering money for the Nazis. On October 20, 1942 the government ordered the confiscation of Ranking Corporation Union (owned by Prescott Bush) and also seized the Dutch-US Trade Corporation and Seamless Steel Corporation both administered by the Bush-Hamman Bank. Franklin Delano Roosevelt, on November 17, 1942, confiscated all assets of the Silesian American Corporation, which was also administered by Prescott Bush, for trading with the enemy.
Maybe evil is in the genes. Samuel Bush, father of the Nazi Prescott Bush and great-grandfather of George Bush, was the right hand man of the steel magnate, Clarence Dillon and the banker Fritz Thyssen. Thyssen wrote a book called I Paid Hitler and joined the Socialist Workers Party in 1931. Should anyone still harbor any doubts concerning the Bush family and Hitler then they should read an excellent essay by Victor Thorn. Thorn explains:

Hey Jim, do some research, Prescott S. Bush Was the director and vice president of the Union Banking Corp. of New York. If you look it up, you will find that the US seized and liquidated them for laundering Nazi money. They found something like 3 million of it. The ironic part is they gave Prescott 1.5 million out of it for his holdings in the bank. The holdings included several Nazi front companies. It was this money that launched the Bush family fortune. Look it up, you will find he was a lot more involved with the Nazis than that. If you want reputable sorces go to the library of congress. It's all there.

This article is irrefutable proof that any !@#$% with a keyboard can imagine themselves smart, entertaining, witty, clever . . . . It's also a great way to demonstrate how one can earn an English degree and have never learned that such outrageous hyperbole, vitriol and bile can ruin one's argument. And Bush 41 fought in the Pacific against the Japs, so I guess it was just poor timing on his part. Isabel- thank you for the suggestion about 'Behold a Pale Horse'. I am very intrigued. Thank you for sharing with me your story about living on the Navajo reservation and hearing about the boats that run their drugs. If you published a book about John's experiences I would definitely read it and support it. I do enjoy the strong tone of your writing and the Bush family's involvement with drugs should be talked about more than their born-again Christianity.
Hi Courtney, Have you read 'Behold a Pale Horse,' it is a great book, written by an ex naval intelligence chap. I think it is Bill Cooper, anyway, he lays out everything about the Bush Dynasty and its drug peddling in Panama, and so on. Also, when i lived on the Navajo rezervation a white man live with us, Johh, x CIA, hiding out there, he told me he used to run the boats that brought in their drugs. It is indeed a very corrupt society. As they pretty much all are. John wanted me to write his book, i told him that i wasn't ready to die.
I made it into the who's who in America in 2000 with my poem: Georgie rides a pale horse, it is posted on AP. Anyway great article!
