When it comes to dining out, my family is usually torn between cost and taste. As a family of six, living on a budget, we try to watch our spending at restaurants. We often prefer the value and speed of fast-food restaurants such as McDonald's or Taco Bell. Sometimes we are just in the mood for a buffet or a meal that is more like home made. When a moment like this strikes, we turn into our local KFC restaurant in Greenville, Ohio.

The only thing harder than deciding where to eat is to please everyone's palate. It can be difficult to please the pickiest members of my family. Luckily, KFC fit's the bill.

KFC offers something for everyone. Their menu includes everything from snacks to dessert. One of my favorite items is the popcorn chicken. This item is available in in family or personal sizes. The personal portion is terrific for a snack or light meal by itself. Add a side or two for a filling meal. The family size popcorn chicken is fabulous for feeding the entire family. Grab a large side of mashed potatoes and gravy or mac and cheese to complete the meal.

The buffet is available at the Greenville, Ohio KFC. The buffet typically offers a couple of varieties of chicken. The barbecue chicken is slightly messy, but worth it. Just grab a few extra napkins. With the buffet, you can satisfy the argument of which sides are the best. If your family is like mine, you need to order a helping of every side to satisfy the masses. Instead, try the buffet. I absolutely love KFC's cole slaw. My husband and four children have yet to acquire this taste. With the buffet, I can get my fill of this delicious side dish without having to order my own personal dish.

Takeaways
  • If you want a buffet, then turn into KFC.
  • You will spend more at KFC than McDonald' restaurants.
  • I prefer KFC's buffet over Ryan's buffet.
Did You Know?
The buffet is available, but KFC offers anything from snacks to dessert.
