Many people go to the gym lacking knowledge in the field of fitness. My father is a personal trainer, so I admit I have some insight on personal fitness, and I have seen the good and bad points of hiring one. Personal trainers generally don't come cheap, but they easily worth the money, and you'd find that not too far after you have hired one. But what are the good points of hiring a personal trainer?

Personal trainers provide improved workouts since they know all about the muscular system, and which muscles work best together. For example, a personal trainer will tell you to go back and biceps one day, and then go chest and triceps another day since these areas of the body work best together. Since a personal trainer contains this knowledge, your progress is increased, and you get to where you want to be physically much faster.

If you go to the gym alone a personal trainer will keep you attentive, and you'll have someone to talk to. Going to the gym alone can make you not want to come back. But knowing that you have a personal trainer there that has become your friend, it makes you want to go back. If your personal trainer isn't friendly, the workout usually won't be as good, and you may not want to go back. I suggest finding a friendly, but also experienced personal trainer to get the both of best worlds.

If you hire a personal trainer, your money is well spent. With your rapid growth in successful physical goals, your gym membership was worth every penny. If you hadn't had a personal trainer you may have been doing the wrong exercises, which would slow down your progress altogether.

This tool is known as a "dumbbell", and can be used to workout many parts of the body, but it is usually used to work on the arms.

I would LOVE to have one of these, especially after I have my baby. I might even be able to afford one next year. :)
