Hawaiian Tropic or No-Ad: Which is Better?
Embed:
With summer fast approaching, sun block is a necessity that everyone should carry with them at all times. Families with small children have decisions to make concerning the protection of their loved ones. Will the extra money you spend for a name brand product give the extra protection needed; or will a generic brand do the same job for less money? Hawaiian Tropic and No-AD are two brands that are well know. Both offer the same SPF and water resistance, to a point. The high SPFs offered by No-Ad work very well if you reapply them every time you come out of the water. The directions say that you should apply the sun block every thirty minutes before entering the water and as often as needed after swimming, sweating, or toweling. Hawaiian Tropic, on the other hand, offers four hours of protection after the first application, and tells the consumer to reapply after prolonged swimming or activity.
Quantity vs. quality is always a concern when purchasing a product such as sunscreen. The ramifications of not taking care of your skin and your children's could be dangerous if not life threatening in later years. The studies have all proven that exposure to the sun can cause cancer to those that least expect it. Quite a few adults are finding out that the time spent in the sun while they were growing up has permanently damages their skin. Another consideration is price. Inflation keeps driving the cost of almost everything that a family needs higher and higher.
