All of us have written articles that were just mediocre. Not just because we made some grammatical errors but because they just not interesting enough. I intend to offer to some tips to help you get more people to read your articles. Catchy titles
If your title doesn't grab someone attention your just wasting your time. Your title needs to stand out. Don't use titles like if you where going to write a review. Lets use a review of a Washington apple. Don't make your title "Review: Washington Apple". Its bland and very boring. Try this as an example.
Washington Apple: The best tasting apple. This title is more interesting and should get you more reads.
Short paragraphs
Long paragraphs are too wordy and many times the reader will just stop reading. Keep your paragraphs short. The longer they are the less they get read. Writing and article is not like writing a novel which can get away with longer paragraphs.
Ask questions of the reader
Your articles should produce thought the best way to do this is to ask questions of the reader. Any article that allows the reader to put himself in it usually asks the reader to come to some type of conclusion.
Keeps articles under 600 words
For Associated Content articles should not be over 600 words. The longer they are the more the reader wants to stop reading. So keep it short get all your points across and end it. Don't drag the article out and end up rambling.
Stick to a template for writing
Watch creating articles so that you follow a template for the type of article your creating. Templates keep you on the straight and narrow. You want to write not spending your day creating templates that don't follow the patterns laid out.
AC has a place to put references
Try to keep references in the place AC wants them. Don't fill up your article's main body with references put them where they should go so that all articles have a uniformity.
Don't have too many points
Keep your points between 5 and 10 in number. The more points and the reader will find it very boring and quit reading it. Your articles must be over 400 words to get paid but they don't have to be more than just a couple pages long.
