The Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMOPRG), World of Warcraft, is massively addicting, as the 6 million + fans may attest to. However, unless you like to carry a lap top everywhere you go, you'll probably be stuck playing WoW only from home. OQO hopes to change this, with the personal, handheld computer, capable of playing World of Warcraft, or other applications on a computer of normal size.

OQO Model O2 sports the capability of running a small computer in the palm of your hand. It's roughly in between the size of a Blackberry and a Sony PSP, and it will run World of Warcraft via a wireless connection (start looking for hotspots now!). From the OQO website, it looks like it will cost a few hundred over $1000, a bit more than you average laptop. It is designed to run the new Microsoft Operating System, Windows Vista, and processes data at roughly 1.5GHz. It boasts a 60GB HDD, and 1 GB of RAM, slightly less than many normal desktop PCs available from companies like Dell or HP. Connection to the internet is established with a built-in EV-DO WWAN wireless internet option.

A video review of the OQO Model O2 posted on UltraMobileLife.com shows a gamer playing World of Warcraft with ease. The text size is noted to be an issue, but it's recommended that one raise the default text size to 18, which helps when reading text on the small screen in WoW. Watching the video shows just how far this handheld PC is, as the game looks like the exact same thing as the PC version, only on a smaller screen. Controls look easy to use, but the small buttons might be an issue for some people.
