You want to do the right thing and somehow filing for bankruptcy doesn't seem like that right thing. So you search the internet for debt consolidation, repairing credit, loans, and any piece of information that will be the magic answer, one that will make your debt disappear.

Having debt can make you feel ashamed, embarrassed, and want to run. But for how long can you run? Perhaps you can run for seven or so years until the blemishes fall off your credit report. But let the truth be told, it doesn't mean you're off the hook. So if you're looking to own up to your debt and face it head on, but don't see how you can do that, I've put together some pretty 'off' but creative ways you can do that.

1. Fill out the nothing but the daily surveys through sites such as CashCrate. If nothing else, it'll give you an extra $24 per month for a few minutes of your time. It could at least be gas in your tank, diapers, milk, and your credit card payment.

2. You can sell your blood. Well, not all of it, just the plasma. You will definitely be able to put a dent your credit card payments by going to your local plasma center. You can probably earn around $250 per month depending on your weight and the number of donations you're able to give. If there are two of you, double that. Paying $500 per month towards your debt is a great chunk of change.

3. Do you like to paint or fix up things? You could go to garage sales and pick up old things, sand, paint, and sell it. Be creative and make the piece look like art. People love to have things that aren't in everyone else's home. Just be careful not to get too bizarre that only you think that it is art. Your sweat will turn into money in your pocket.

4. Find things nearly being given away, perhaps on end of season sales through the internet, garage sales, departmental stores, wherever and everywhere. Barter, negotiate, and plea for a better deal. Buy more from them and get the best deal possible. Cry if you have too because you can save these wisely acquired items until the beginning of the next season and sell it at even half the price. Just make sure it is something that people will need next season.
