They Are Putting What in Baby Formula Soon?
Just Gives One More Valid Reason to Choose Breastfeeding
Scientists say that putting this appetite suppressant in baby formula, it will genetically alter their metabolism. Hasn't anyone learned that when you artificially "alter" things, that bad things can happen. There is no proof that this will not cause other problems that may be bigger and harder to treat than obesity.
People need to realize that obesity can be dealt with by using diet and exercise as your main tools. Putting something in baby formula that isn't found in breastmilk is just ignorant. You just don't know what the future will hold for the babies that are subjected to this type of medically altering substance. I just do not trust anything artificial or something labeled "metabolism altering", especially for a new baby. That baby is generally born healthy with a clean slate and then you force the baby to ingest something that down the road can cause health problems. it is a sad society if this plan goes through.
It is so important to look beautiful and thin? Society makes it so that people do think that the only way to be is thin. Yes, we all know that being obese is not healthy but would you go this far to prevent it from happening to a child? Maybe if society started preaching daily exercise and less junk food and a healthy diet, things like this wouldn't be so important to some people.
