The Real World Denver Is Terrible Along With Every Other Season Since Boston

I used to look forward to watching The Real World. Living in my small town, I viewed the show as a way to see what the social climate was outside of my little bubble. But the more recent years have proven to be a huge disappointment. With the show seemingly seeking to appeal to a younger and younger demographic it has gone from a show about social issues to a show about sex and alcohol.

The last season I remember genuinely enjoying was the Boston season, and to this day it is my favorite season. The mixture of ages, races, sexual orientations, and geographical backgrounds I enjoyed watching the cast work through one issue after another. The most recent season, Real World Denver, was more than a let down, although Vegas definitely takes home the prize for worst season ever. I keep watching each season, hoping that MTV will have cast people who will return the show to its original glory, but I always end up disappointed.
