If you are in the market for a Chevrolet Malibu, here is a review about my experiences with my dark green 1999 Chevrolet Malibu.

I received my 1999 Chevrolet Malibu from my father in 2001. It was actually a hand-me-down from my older brother. When it was given to me, it initially had roughly 90,000 miles driven on it. To give you a picture of the performance and life of the vehicle, I still have and the odometer reads about 180,000 miles.

My 1999 Chevrolet Malibu is your standard 4-door domestic sedan. There isn't anything special about it really. It didn't come with a CD-player, only an AM/FM radio and cassette. I put in my own after market single disc changer, which was relatively easy to install. This particular 1999 Chevrolet Malibu also came with power windows, locks, and mirrors. My Malibu has a beige cloth interior.

The comfort level of my 1999 Chevrolet Malibu is questionable. It's quite hard to get comfortable, especially during long trips, in the two front bucket seats. The back seat which comes as a bench style like most cars is actually very comfortable or so my friends have told me. There is ample storage space in the trunk. I have moved several times and my 1999 Chevrolet Malibu can hold quite a bit of luggage.

The overall performance of my 1999 Chevrolet Malibu is definitely above average. Being a young male driver, I will admit I have put unnecessary wear and tear on my Malibu. It handles very well as it sits quite low to the ground. It's a 6-cylinder and light weight for its size and can really move when you need it too. The top speed is about 110 MPH, and even at excessive speeds (although I don't ever recommend driving that fast in any vehicle) it handles very well.

My 1999 Chevrolet Malibu has had repairs, as most machines require. I keep up with the oil changes regularly, which is crucial to the basic performance of any car. I've driven my 1999 Malibu for about 100,000 miles over the course of 6 years and the major repairs have been minimal.
