High School Survival Guide
They Call Me, Freshmeat
Remember in 8th grade when you would dream about high school? The guys. The memories. Just pure awesomeness.Guess what, it comes with a catch.
High school is full of haters, hard test, and embarrassment.
Here are 7 tips that will help you on your way to that world we like to call freshman year
Tip # 1: Have confidence.
The first year of high school can be the worst 8 hours, or the making of your high school reputation. You can spend those days worrying about your hair, clothes or how you smell, or you can strut down that hallway like Tyra Banks.
The one thing you need to survive these 180 days is confidence. That one thing could take you the peaks of popularity or to the depths of the rejection pile. No smaller how thick, skinny, black, white, short, or tall you are people will be drawn into your positivity, and will want to be around you. If you complain about yourself constantly then that negativity will draw people away.
And if you don't like it, then fix it.
Tip # 2: Don't let girl's comments get to you.
When girls are insecure with themselves they'll say the nastiest ugliest most hurtful comments to bring you down to their level. They'll sniff out your weakness as if it was blood and use it against you. Never show weakness in front of them. Also, what ever you do never cry. They'll take that and turn it into a nightmare.
Tip # 3: Never ask upperclassmen for directions.
They'll send you in the wrong direction without even thinking about it. Always ask a teacher. They are there to help you.
That brings us to...
Tip # 4: Make friends with teachers.
Other kids might call you teacher's pets, but in the end they have a lot of power.
Teachers control your grades and are there to help you academically and even things that'll help you in life. Also, teachers can knock your grade up a few points if you need it, so cut them a brake and let them do their jobs.
Tip # 5: Leave upperclassmen guys ALONE.
