Renaissance Fairs in Pennsylvania in August Through October
Good morrow, lords and maidens! Celebrate in grand medieval fashion at a renaissance fair! There are several to attend in Pennsylvania during the months of August through October.
Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire - Located approximately 33 miles east of Harrisburg in Manheim, Pennsylvania. This fair will be held weekends and Labor Day Monday August 11th - October 28th from 11:00 am - 8:00 pm. Parking will be free. Tickets will be $28 for adults,
$10 for kids ages 5 - 11, and free for children ages 4 and under. Those who choose to dress up will need to keep weapons sheathed and peace-tied. Wedding packages and birthday parties are available. Themed weekends include Love A-Faire, Love and Romance, Invasion of the Pirates, Children's Fantasy, An Irish Gathering, A Scots Highland Gathering, Oktoberfest, and Halloween Daze and Spooky Knights. Visitors will enjoy fine music, hilarious comedy, amusing rides and games, and many other amusements for all ages. Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival - Located approximately 6 miles west of New Stanton in West Newton, Pennsylvania. This fair will be held weekends and Labor Day Monday August 25th - September 30th from 10:00 am - 6:30 pm. Parking will be free. Those wishing to dress in costume will not be allowed to carry weapons. Tickets will be $15 for adults and $6 for kids. Special features include Educational School Days September 18th - 19th and a Children's Realm which will offer a treasure hunt as well as many crafts, games and activities. Visitors will enjoy dramatic jousting, astonishing magic, hilarious comedy, engaging music, and more entertainment.
