My Boys is a TBS original sitcom that premiered on November 28, 2006. It chronicles the life of a female sports columnist living in Chicago and her relationships with the men in her life. She is a pretty girl but very much a tomboy which often leads to problems in developing a romantic relationship. The main characters are:

PJ Franklin (played by Jordana Spiro) - She is a sports writer for the Chicago Sun-Times. At first glance, she's an average single twenty seven year old woman--smart, good looking and charming. The boys referred to in the show's name are essentially her family; this occasionally interferes in her dating life as men have difficulty understanding all the men in her life.

Andy Franklin (portrayed by hilarious comedian Jim Gaffigan) - Andy is PJ's brother; he seems beaten down by life in general and his wife in particular. Though the truth may be more complicated.

Brendon Dorff (the very attractive Reid Scott) - Brendon is radio DJ who is generally seen wearing a band t-shirt and jeans. His complicated relationship with his long time girlfriend often leaves him sleeping on PJ's couch.

Mike Callahan (the very Irish looking Jamie Kaler) - Mike starts the show working for the Cubs but sometime mid-season he winds up jobless. He tried very hard to be a ladies man but it doesn't always go the way he plans.

Kenny Moritorri (the sometimes awkward Michael Bunin) - Kenny owns a sports memorabilia store and tried really hard to be successful in the dating world.

Bobby Newman (the cute Kyle Howard) - Bobby was introduced on the show as a love interest for PJ but he got trapped in the friend zone very early on and is now a regular at the gang's poker games. He is a sportswriter for the rival Chicago Tribune.

Stephanie Lane (the very girly Kellee Stewart) - Steph is PJ's best female friend, she tries to make sure PJ occasionally emerges from her all male world and provides the show with a much needed dose of estrogen.
