Proactiv: In 1995, Proactiv was launched by two female dermatologists Dr. Katie Rodan and Dr. Kathy Fields. The best selling package is the one that includes a cleanser, a toner, and a daily moisturizer. Sometimes they will through in a small bottle of facial mask. I used this product for maybe 3-5 months. MY grandpa and aunt were big fans of it. I thought it was nice at first too. It seemed like it was doing its job. However, my skin became extremely dry and sensitive to the sun. Since it started to dry out my skin, my acne got worse.
I have heard from a lot of people that this product works. I think, however, that people with sensitive or dry skin should stay away from it. I have also read several reviews from people who said their acne cleared completely within the first two weeks. However, they said that it came right back after that. If you find that this product works for you, then get use to having it around for a while. Usually those who stopped the program had their acne crawling back as well. I did enjoy one product though. The pore refining mask they make is fabulous though. This mask really did some wonders.
The price for Proactive can differ. Some people are lucky enough to get the deal of $19.95 a month. Others may have to pay up to $39.95 a month. The nice thing is that it is shipped directly to your door even before your month's product is up. Also, cancellation is easy. Another really nice thing about Proactiv is that they will allow you to try the product 30 days. If you do not like it, you can have all your money back.
