Jim Halpert(John Krasinski): Jim is an office prankster who has been in love with Pam for a long time, but is now dating someone else after moving to the Stamford office for a while. He really enjoys targeting his pranks on Dwight, who falls for them every time. He sometimes sends Dwight faxes that he signs, Future Dwight, warning Dwight of Now of dangers, such as poisoned coffee.

Kevin Malone (Brian Baumgartner): Overweight and horny, Kevin plays guitar and sings in a Police coverband.

Pam Beesly (Jenna Fischer): Pam is a secretary who dreams of one day becoming an artist. She enjoys playing pranks on people and is seriously in love with her friend, Jim. However, when he confessed his feelings for her, she turned him down... twice. After walking across hot coals barefoot at the company beach party, she has finally learned to speak her mind.

Michael Scott (Steve Carell): Michael is the boss. He has a coffee mug he bought himself that says "World's Best Boss." He is politically incorrect and often does or says things that make his employees uncomfortable. However, his self-unawareness and tendency to get emotional makes him endearing enough that the staff can't be mad at him for long.

Dwight Schrute (Rainn Wilson): Dwight is a super-geek who loves following the rules. He keeps numchucks and throwing stars in a secret compartment under his desk, just in case (of what, no one is sure). He lives on a beet farm with his cousin and likes to think of himself as the protector of Dunder Mifflin. He worships Michael as an annoying side kick.
