The best thing about being a BzzAgent is I get to test new products as they come out. The second best thing is getting to write articles on my review of the product. My latest assignment was to try Claritin-D's new 24 hour extended relief tablets. Then I am to tell others about the product to create a buzz. Here is what I learned from this campaign:Spring is here and it seems with each passing year my allergies get worse. I was happy to put Claritin-D to the test. What I like most about Claritin-D was that it has extended release tablets. That means the medicine is released every so many hours so you have continual relief from your allergy symptoms throughout the day. It is available in 12 or 24 hour formula's. I only take the 24 hour formula when I have a busy day planned.
Claritin-D is prescription strength, but can easily be purchased over the counter without a special trip to your doctor. Claritin-D works best on the following types of allergens: Pet, mold, dust, and pollen. After you take the tablet you can expect it to begin working within 30 minutes.
Claritin-D also contains a powerful nasal decongestant that relieves even the worst of allergy symptoms. Because of this you may have to ask the pharmacist for the product if you don't see it displayed on the store's shelves. Most pharmacies are now keeping products with Psuedoephedrine behind the counter even though it is safe and effective. Claritin-D also relieves sinus pressure. That was a big plus for me. As a matter of fact, I have used this product with a regular cold and it helped with all of my symptoms.
Claritin-D 24 hours tablets currently cost around $24.99 for 30 tablets. The 12 hour tablets sell for $1.00 less. If you are only interested in purchasing a couple of tablets to give Claritin-D a try you can get 10 tablets for $12.99. If you visit Claritin's website you can receive $3.00 off coupons. I received some coupons with my Bzzkit, but sorry folks, I have already handed them out to my allergy suffering friends. You may want to do a search on the Internet to see if you can find them at a online drug store at a discount.
