2006 a Year in Review Via Major Movie Releases

I love movies and thought it would be fun to do a review of the year 2006 via the major movies that were released so here goes in order by month.

January

BloodRayne - So bad I haven't even heard of it, just kidding, but only about the not ever hearing about it part.

Grandma's Boy - Wow a movie with the entire cast from Adam Sandler's movies only missing on key part, ummm...Adam Sandler.

Hostel - I realized if you move the e behind the l and change the st to rr and then add ib you get what they should have named the movie...in case you're slow Horrible.

Glory Road - Not bad but just another long shot team to win movie, but hey it had Josh Lucas

Last Holiday - It would have been good if Queen Latifah had really died

Tristan and Isolde - they pitched the stupid before Romeo and Juliet there was Tristan and Isolde, if you want to compare yourself with a Shakespearian classic you better make damn sure your movie is better than it, which this one isn't.

End of the Spear - End of the Road for whoever produced this crap.

Underworld: Evolution - Ironic that the plot never evolved in this movie.

Annapolis - Gave military guys hard on but left everyone else limp

Big Momma's House 2 - Worse then re-runs of Martin (yeah it's that bad).

Nanny McPhee - Rip off of Marry Poppin's and not even a tea spoon of sugar will help this one go down.

February

Something New - I would rather see something old that has some good writers and actors I have heard of.

When a stranger calls - A remake that doesn't work well? I am shocked!

Curious George - Children's book turned movie only with Will Farrell screaming lines at us.

Final Destination 3 - Because we needed another one.

Firewall - I suggest getting a firewall that will block this movie so you won't have to sit through it.

The Pink Panther - Had Beyonce in it do I need to say more?

Date Movie - Single worst movie ever made even worse then Gigli and Son of the Mask (ok maybe not Son of the Mask).

Eight Below - 8 dogs survive and are rescued because it's worth the 1,000's of dollars to rescue them.
