If you are an affiliate marketer, you know that having sharp emailing techniques are critical to the success of your marketing campaigns. How can I get people to open my emails? What should I include in my emails? These are just two of the many questions that many people ask who would like to improve in the emailing efforts.I would like to share several pointers that should maximize your email endeavors for the best results.
Pointer One-The first pointer is that you should compile a solid list to send your emails to. There are millions of people who are online with a wide array of different interests. It would be pointless to send your emails to people who are not interested in your products or services that you are promoting. It is a cardinal sin in the internet marketing world to send emails to prospects that have not expressed any interest in your products or services that you are promoting.
You can easily build a solid email list of interested prospects by allowing your website visitors the choice to opt in to be included on your email list. This is a sure way of knowing that your emails will be well received and read.
Pointer Two-Do you know that your subject line may be the determining factor as to whether or not your email will be opened? Yes, it is true. You should be great efforts into creating a dazzling and eye catching phrase into your subject line.
Pointer Three-Follow The K.I.S.S. Principle. In other words, you should keep it simple stupid. Keep your email messages short and to the point. Your reader may have a short attention span or lack the patience to read a long and drawn out message.
Pointer Four-Do not waste your time in sending email messages with attachments. Studies show that they will more than likely be ignored and not opened. Use links instead.
Pointer Five-Watch your use of graphics within your email messages. You don't want your reader to wait for an unnecessary period of time in allowing your message to load up. If you want to use graphics, you should make sure that they will complement your messages by not taking too long in loading up. You may even consider omitting the use of them all together.
