The reason why I looked into hoodia gordonii products is because I just cannot tolerate being hungry. How else can I lose weight if I do not eat less? To see if these products really work as an appetite suppressant while trying to lose weight I did some research. What I found is quite shocking, and I am going to relay to you what I found out.

The basic ingredient for most people to lose weight is to eat less, or at least eat less of the wrong foods. Unfortunately, that usually means that you will be hungry all of the time. The problem with hunger for me is that it quickly turns into a headache and the headache turns to nausea. Hunger is to be avoided. In fact, if there is any danger of getting hungry, I eat.

Reports about hoodia are everywhere. From Oprah, 60 minutes and the Today Show to the LA Times. They say it keeps you from getting hungry. But does it really work? And is it all the same?

Well, I did some research and found that it is NOT all the same. There are pills and liquids; there is hoodia grown in South Africa and there is some grown in China and even the US.

So I have distilled the key points you need to know down to these 5 facts:

Only the plant actually grown in South Africa really works for an appetite suppressant. The plants grown in other parts of the world, like China or the US just do not work at stopping the hunger.

Hoodia is actually a protected plant in South Africa. So, in order to get any to manufacture into a product, the company must obtain a C.I.T.E.S. certificate in order to get any of this valuable plant out of the country.

Only the liquid form of Hoodia Gordonii will get into your system effectively to trick your body into feeling full. Pills just do not seem to work. Many companies brag about the size of their pill, but it really takes only a few drops of the liquid form to get the desired results. Digestion of the plant material via a pill is just ineffective. Get the liquid.

Did You Know?
Only hoodia gordonii grown in South Africa can be effective in suppressing hunger. This is one job that cannot be shipped off to China.
