The Quad-Cities consists of four cities, on the state line of Illinois and Iowa which join to make a community. The Quad Cities consist of Bettendorf and Davenport in Iowa and Rock Island and Moline in Illinois. Originally the area was settled by the Fox and Sauk Indians, forming one of the largest Indian settlements in the world in the1700's. The first steamship navigated the Rock Island Rapids in 1823, paving the way for immigrants from Sweden, Germany, Belgium and Ireland.

The Quad City area has many points of interest, including: Isle of Capri Casino, Putnam Museum and IMAX Theater, John Deere Pavilion, Black Hawk State Historic Site, Mississippi River, Quad City Botanical Center, Rock Island Arsenal and much more.

I am going to learn to time my reading of your restaurant reviews so I am not hungry. Hard to settle for what's in the house after reading about these fine restaurants.
