I am a yogurt lover and enjoy the taste and healthy benefits from eating about one serving daily. What is special about yogurt? Yogurt is great for anyone at any age or stage in life. It has many nutrients, including a great source of protein (an 8 ounce serving contains around 8 to 10 grams), calcium, minerals, and vitamins. Some of these include potassium, phosphorous, Vitamin B12, and others. Many people love yogurt due to the fact that it is low in fat and can help weight loss. Most also know that yogurt contains bacteria that help the immune system by battling cancer-causing compounds and other harmful aspects. With so many different brands and flavors, even the most picky eater would find the perfect yogurt. I have tried many types and brands of yogurt and have decided to help decide which is the better of my two favorite brands: Breyer's and Yoplait. These are two great brands and have many great flavors. Battling it out is Raspberries N' Cream from Breyer's Light and Orange Creme from Yoplait Original. The basics of both are the obvious health and weight loss benefits, thanks to both being low fat and are both relatively the same price depending were you shop. Most yogurt servings are around one to two dollars. Both have 1.5 grams of fat and include all the extras from protein, Vitamin A, Vitamin D, Calcium, Phosphorus and others.
