I know that I have been blessed in my life.I have three beautiful children, a great husband(my best friend of 22 years) abeautiful house and my health.I also never prepared for what was to come.

We found out that we were pregnant with our third child on April 6,2007.I never thought that i would do it again, since I was turning 30 that May.Since our first 2 children were from a previous relationship,I knew that we had to have 1 together. So here I was, despite all of my reservation, about going through another pregnancy. My husband was extremely supportive and cooked like Emril.I went to all of my doctors appointments religiously and did everything by the book(except gain 60 pounds, but that is another story). What could possibly go wrong,so we thought.I worked a retail job full time and stayed on my feet.I knew that I was not going to make it until through 9 months, because I was the size of an elephant and very uncomfortable. So finally ,November 22,six weeks early ,Terence Timothy Amoh Jr. was born.He was smaller than i expected at 5 pounds and three ounces, but never the less ,he seemed healthy and he was absoulutely beautiful.

Since he came so unexpectedly and the day before Thanksgiving,I still had to prepare for company and prepare for him to come home. With my doctors permission,I left the hospital Thanksgiving morning and went to spend the day with my family, knowing that the folloeing day all of my work wuld officially begin, shopping for the baby, cleanding up after the guests and going to get my son.

Finally,Sunday November 26,my boy came home to his new family and friends. We were all so excited, but none of us knew what to do with such a small baby.We just all stood aroung and watched him sleep. He was only 17 inches long so no one wanted to even touch him.So that went on for abut two days ,and then it was back to life as usual.I still had to take the othr children to school and tend to my husband.Lets not forget that, since he came early,I stll had a baby shower to put the finishing touches on.Things were extremely hectic, but I had to be a mother and manage. This is when the life that I knew as safe and secure crashed right in front of me.
