Adam Rodriguez: CSI: Miami's Eric Delko
Adam Rodriguez plays Eric Delko on CSI: Miami. Rodriguez character Eric Delko, came to America while in his mother's womb on a boat. The family had fled communist Cuba to give him and his three sisters a better life. Rodriguez's character is cast that of Cuban by his mother and Russian by
his father. During the shows running, Eric Delko has fought with a gambling addiction and even the death of his sister Marisol, who had married his boss, Horatio Caine.
Unlike his character on CSI: Miami, Adam Rodriguez is of Puerto Rican And Cuban descent and was born in Yonkers, New York on April 2,1975. His family dynamics also only consist of 1 younger sister, instead of three older sisters that his character has.
Rodriguez's true dream was of becoming a professional baseball player. That dream was shot short due to a sports injury in high school that had injured his spine. He had played around a little with acting, and at the age of 10 had auditioned for a role on The Cosby Show. He never really had focused on acting as a profession until after his injury.
Rodriguez's big break came because of his father. While watching the Emmy Awards on TV, his father had recognized on of his old friends from the service. This friend just happened to be the supervising producer of NYPD Blue, Bill Clark. Rodriguez's father and Bill Clark becoming reacquainted led to Rodriguez being cast as a guest star on an episode of NYPD Blue.
Rodriguez had since went on to star on All Souls, Resurrection Blvd, Roswell and even Felicity. He can also add appearances in music videos for Jennifer Lopez and 50 cent to his list of accomplishments. Now every woman can drool over him on CSI: Miami.
Rodriguez seems to be on of the hottest men in the public eye. He has been named one of Inside TV's 50 Sexiest Men on TV, In Touch Magazine's Hottest Hunks of Summer, People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive and he was even named one People Magazine En Espanol's 25 Most Beautiful People. There is defiantly enough naming there to show that he truly is one hot man.
