Moving to a small town can be confusing and interesting all in one. But if you are into the nightlife and checking out the hot spots in a small city, this is the article for you. In Tennessee there is a place called Clarksville. Beside the fact of it being mainly an Army town, Fort Campbell Base is located here; it can also be enjoyable for civilians.

The City of Clarksville has grown and is flourishing into an industrious city. Most of our brave men and women who serve in the armed forces frequent the clubs often on the weekends. One of the clubs in Clarksville is called Kickers. This club is almost always packed for wall to wall with people from all over. On Saturday nights the admission for the club is only six dollars for ladies and eight for the men. There are two levels. The first floor is for country music lovers. The wide open dance floor is sure to accommodate many people. There is a bar and they also sell various bar food. Chicken fingers, Buffalo wings, French fries, etc. On the second floor is where the Hip-Hop and R&B is played. Southern type rap, east coast hip-hop and even reagaeton. There are two bars located on the second floor, and a lounge area where people can relax and talk. The dance floor located in the middle of the floor is large, but is always filled with people dancing and enjoying themselves.

Another hot spot in Clarksville is The Roxbury. There is a small fee to get in and it has one floor. The music ranges from Pop, Hip-Hop, R&B, Country, and Rock. It all depends on the day. The crowd is usually moderate, sometime a large crowd, and some days a small crowd. There are pool tables and lounging areas for having a drink and chatting with friends. There is one bar and the dance floor is a small area. A lot of people just dance outside the dance floor anyway so that doesn't matter. Many stars frequent the club and make special appearances. Just a few days ago the rap group the Shop Boys were there performing, also Deelishis from Flava of Love made an appearance. It is the place to be to meet the celebrities.

I was "born and raised in the same small town" and we have our share of bars, although I haven't been inside of one for many years, and never considered any of them "hopping"! Unfortunately, in many small towns there isn't much else to do but barhop. But it is a good way to meet the locals.
