In this third movie, cast members Kiera Knightly, Orlando Bloom and Geoffrey Rush, respectively Elizabeth, Will and Captain Barbossa, join forces to rescue the much loved (and hated) Captain Jack Sparrow, made famous by Johnny Depp, who is held captive in Davy Jones' locker.

The movie begins by reminding the audience that the East India Trading Company has possession of Davy Jones' heart. As a result, they control the waters, and pirates have fallen on hard times.

The plot thickens at this point, and this may confuse younger viewers. The pirates join forces to rescue Jack while continuously making side deals. The side deals involve several betrayals along the way. In true pirate fashion, many deals are made and broken during the movie.

Elizabeth is struggling with her decision to "sacrifice" Jack while Will juggles the memory of Elizabeth kissing Jack with his promise to his father.

Captain Barbossa reveals his methods of coming back from the dead as well as his required repayment for the favor.

A host of new secondary characters are introduced in the third installment to illustrate the plight of the pirate's way of life.

The movie contains many familiar characters as well. Many nostalgic moments of Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl are scattered throughout the movie.

Overall, the movie was great, although like Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, the movie was a bit longer than necessary. The movie weaves a sophisticated plot which may confuse young viewers. Rated PG-13, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End appears to focus on an older audience. It contains very mild sexual suggestions as well as more violence than previous Pirate films.

I thought it was very good also, but I missed the scene at the end because I didn't know there was one until I got out of the theater.
