1. Ali Larter took a huge leap towards fame with her appearance as Darcy Sears in the 1999 teen comedy "Varsity Blues." She played opposite "Dawson's Creek" star James VanDerBeek, and gained instant notoriety for a scene in which she wore nothing but a bikini made of whipped cream.
2. Ali Larter moved to New York City in 2002. In her globetrotting past, she has lived in locations as varied as Miami, Los Angeles, and Japan. Her birthplace and childhood home is in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
3. Although Ali Larter has become a sex symbol in part due to her classic Hollywood looks, she has said in interviews that looks don't matter to her in a romantic partner. Larter told one reporter "I hate pretty-looking boys. I'd rather have a guy with a potbelly than one who's in the gym all the time and watches what he eats."
4. Ali Larter first began working as a professional model at the tender age of 13 years old. She signed with the prestigious Ford agency, and joined the international jet set, traveling the world for shoots in exotic locations
5. Larter has said that her challenging "Heroes" role is satisfying to play. She enjoys Nikki/Jessica because she says she is "drawn to playing strong women." Her first post-Heroes film role, in action flick "Resident Evil: Extinction," falls into the same category.
6. In 2002, Ali Larter was ranked in Stuff magazine's "102 Sexiest Women In The World." She hit number 40. In 2007, after her dual role as Nikki and Jessica Sanders on "Heroes" pushed her farther into the spotlight, she made number 4 on Maxim's "Hot 100."
