Father
It takes boys longer to warm up to their fathers
We don't always treat you like we should
It might have something to do with being the same gender
Or it might just be sons

We have a lot in common
But we don't do much together
I can't always blame you
Because most of the time I'm at fault

You are half of the people I call parents
Without you there is no me
Hopefully in time we'll grow closer
Because that's the way I always wanted it to be.
