Renaissance Fairs in North Carolina October Through December

Come, all ye lords and ladies, to an Elizabethan celebration! Renaissance fairs provide medieval merriment for all ages! And there are a number that occur in the state of North Carolina during the months of October through December.

Elizabethan Tymes, A Country Faire - Located approximately 68 miles south of Elizabeth City in Manteo, North Carolina at the Roanoke Island Festival Park. This fair will be held October 6^th - 7^th from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. Tickets will be $8 for adults, $5 for students ages 6 - 17, and free for children ages 5 and under. The admission price to the Faire is included in Roanoke Island Festival Park's general admission ticket and is good for both days of the event. Those who choose to dress in period attire will be required to keep weapons sheathed and peace-tied. The only firearms allowed will be unloaded period pieces. No alcohol will be sold or permitted. The festivities will begin with a grand parade featuring the Baronial Court arriving at the Town of Manteo docks to be escorted across the Cora Mae Basnight Bridge.
