The Central Bank of Germany is home to Europe's largest economy. This economy, however, had not been so high in the first quarter of the year. Many are blaming the unusually bad weather that has effected hiring in such sectors as construction. Obviously, this has a direct effect on unemployment and economic activity in Germany's economy. Strangely, key Ifo (Information and Forschung) data has shown that investor sentiment is at a 15 year high. The Ifo Institute for Economic Research at the University of Munich is a registered, non-profit association that is one of the leading economic research institutes in Germany.
