Summer Fun in Saint Louis: Water Parks

Aquaport in Maryland Heights is the best Water Park for those on a budget. Admission for non-resident adults is $15 and for non-resident children it is $10. Prices are much lower for Maryland Heights residents, at $4 for adults and $3 for kids. Aquaport also offers season passes, which is the way to go if you plan on visiting often. Aquaport is open from Memorial Day weekend through the first week of September, and is open until 7 PM on most nights. Aquaport's claim to fame is it's large family fun pool which features fountains, bubblers, sand six slides. Aquaport also features free parking, showers, areas for relaxing in the sun, and a concession stand.
Raging Rivers in Grafton, Illinois is an expansive water park that is worth an all day trip! Raging Rivers features different water rides and attractions like the Swirlpool, Runaway Rafts Ride, the Cascade Body Flumes, the Shark Slide, the Endless Lazy River, the Treehouse Harbor, and the Itty Bitty Surf City. Raging Rivers also features Breaker Beach, which is a wade pool with waves that you can relax in after enjoying the various rides and attractions! Raging Rivers also has several cafes, a bathhouse with showers, and a gift shop. Admission to Raging Rivers is $20 for adults and $17 for children, but season passes are also available. Raging Rivers also charges a parking fee of $5.
