Tragedy struck the lives of one of our Associated Content writers last week, May 19. According to a post on her blog, her six year old son was run over in her drive-way. She is experiencing a time of inexpressible grief and loneliness. She wrote briefly about the incident and declared her intent to be off-line for a while.

Maybe you have read some of Rosa's work. I've grown accustomed to my daily emails informing me that Rosa Hayes has a new article published. If you have read her work, you know she has a lot of irons in the fire, and works hard at her writing. If I've read between the lines correctly, Rosa has started her internet ventures because of her desire to be an at-home-mom.

She has other kids, and is married. The entire family is suffering from this tragic accident. According to Rosa's report a woman visiting a neighbor put her car in reverse, and lay down on the gas. Apparently it was too hard, because she ran over Gaje Florence in his own driveway. Services were held a week ago Wednesday.

Rosa's primary request was for emails, prayers, and support from her internet network of friends. I want to take this opportunity to express my deepest sympathy for the family. My heart breaks with you. My prayers are with you, and although we cannot understand why such tragedies happen we can have the assurance that our Father holds tomorrow in His hands. May God keep you and grant you the strength that you cannot find on your own. He now holds Gaje in His hands, strong, powerful, loving hands. It is hard to imagine as a mother, but God loves Gaje more than you do. We cannot understand his death, or why you and your family must carry this burden. Know this, Rosa, that you will see Him again.

Perhaps you have read Rosa's articles and would like to send her moral, emotional, spiritual, or financial support. More than anything, she can use your prayers and support. If you would like more information on the tragic accident and Rosa's loss you can read it in the Oklahoma City News, zip code 73159. The incident occurred on the 19th of May.

If you stumble upon this article, be sure to search AC's content producers for Rosa Hayes. She did an excellent, heart-rending write-up of this horrible accident. Her story won her one of AC's writer of the year awards, although nothing can replace her son, she has become actively involved in cases involving "accidental deaths" to children.

Oh Rosa - may God be with you as you try to cope with your loss. We never understand why, but only know that God needed Gate for a Higher purpose. I am so very sorry and my prayers are with you and Gate's loved ones.

Carol, I think a page view campaign for Rosa is a great idea. In fact, I think I'll forward this to all of my contacts and as they read the comments....ask them to search for rosa hayes and read as many of her articles as they can. I pray that she is hanging in there.

This is terrible. You should start a page view "collection" for her in the article promotions area. If we all read through as many of her articles as we could, maybe that would be a small help.

She and her family are in my prayers. Thank you for having the heart to write this amazing article to reach out to others.
