Fueled by the hurried pace of society life and the menus of fast food restaurants, our food portions seem to be bigger and less healthy as time goes on. Therefore, people who rely on such nutrition sources seem to be getting bigger, and wider as times goes on. Apparently the trend of going bigger doesn't stop there, somewhere in some corporate think session someone decided we needed bigger rolls of toilet paper. One could see their line of thinking, more food and junk equals more poop. However, now we shall explore and review one of the bigger rolls of toilet paper in concept and execution of said concept: the Charmin Mega Roll!

The Charmin Mega Roll when purchased in a pack of 6 makes the bold claim on the outside that the 6 rolls inside are equal to 24 of the regular sized rolls. The greatness behind this compact idea I am sure lies in the conserving of paper products and giving the customer more life and time from having to change the toilet paper roll or go buy more. One single Mega Roll is supposed to be the equivalent to four regular rolls and is currently the largest size available from the Charmin company.

My purchase of Charmin Mega Roll toilet paper came from my local Vons grocery store. Soon after heaving the bag home and up the stairs to the main bathroom I found myself trying to load a roll for dispensing. However, immediately the issue of the roll being too fat presented itself. The toilet paper holder was not designed with a huge roll of toilet paper and thus it is impossible for one to actually roll or spin the product to get a piece. I cannot complain on this problem however because Charmin has a fix for it. If you visit their website you can register to receive a free Charmin Extender. The Extender is a piece that you place through the toilet paper roll and clip into your regular holder to allow the Mega Roll to fit. Depending on the set up of your bathroom I am guessing this solution probably would help most.

You didn't mention all the stuff that flies out of Charmin when you're lucky enough to get a piece torn off. It's like an instant dust storm!I don't know what those flying particles are!?
