The Charmin Mega Roll when purchased in a pack of 6 makes the bold claim on the outside that the 6 rolls inside are equal to 24 of the regular sized rolls. The greatness behind this compact idea I am sure lies in the conserving of paper products and giving the customer more life and time from having to change the toilet paper roll or go buy more. One single Mega Roll is supposed to be the equivalent to four regular rolls and is currently the largest size available from the Charmin company.
My purchase of Charmin Mega Roll toilet paper came from my local Vons grocery store. Soon after heaving the bag home and up the stairs to the main bathroom I found myself trying to load a roll for dispensing. However, immediately the issue of the roll being too fat presented itself. The toilet paper holder was not designed with a huge roll of toilet paper and thus it is impossible for one to actually roll or spin the product to get a piece. I cannot complain on this problem however because Charmin has a fix for it. If you visit their website you can register to receive a free Charmin Extender. The Extender is a piece that you place through the toilet paper roll and clip into your regular holder to allow the Mega Roll to fit. Depending on the set up of your bathroom I am guessing this solution probably would help most.
