Billionaire Donald Trump decided to finally end the string of six seasons of The Apprentice on NBC. The show ended on somewhat of a sour note because NBC had been debating whether or not to discontinue the show which had been dwindling in viewers after its first season. However, before NBC could make that decision, Donald Trump told the television studio that he quit and that the show decided that it would not continue for a seventh season. The first season of The Apprentice made it the number one show watched on television as people tuned in to watch Donald Trump who is equally loved and hated by people. His trademarked slogan "Your Fired" was mimicked by everyone who watched the show and people were generally entertained by the show which was entertaining and educational for people interested in entrepreneurship and starting their own business. More important for Donald Trump, he extended his brand name of "Trump" across the world. While the show paid him a nice amount of money, Trump did the show mainly to satisfy his giant ego. As Donald Trump says, having an ego is a good thing and his own show sure built up his ego.
