Dickson Street is the Hub of Fayetteville Nightlife with Its Numerous Hot Spots and Live Music

As we head down Dickson our first stop is Willy D’s. This location offers a dueling piano bar with shows Thursday through Saturday. Willy D’s had two happy hours and serve soups, sandwiches and appetizers.

Our second stop down Dickson features JR’s Dickson Theater. JR’s is a popular dance club and also offers screenings of new movies, and a film festival. You can enjoy pizza, movie theater concessions and a selection of beers.

As we continue down Dickson St. we come to Ole’ for Jose’s catering to those in the mood for a Mexican atmosphere and food. Also included is Bordino’s specializing in Italian fare.

Leaving there we come upon Brewski’s. This little spot offers over 200 kinds of beer with 70 of them on tap. You can play pool in the back or sit in the open-air room facing Dickson St.

Next we arrive at Common Grounds. This nightspot has a full bar, and two-level deck, lush gardens and has the feel of an upscale coffee/espresso house. Common Grounds also has a full service restaurant serving pastries and other breakfast goodies, gourmet salads, pizza, and appetizers.

Traveling down Dickson St., we come to Buster Belly’s Bar & Deli offering a cozy atmosphere, a TV at the bar where you can watch the game or dining on the back porch.

Chester’s Place features live music with many local favorites and blues bands. Chester’s doesn’t serve food but they do have a full bar and a patio.

The most crowded spot on our tour is the Ozark Brewing Co. They offer home brews on tap. They offer a sampler of their brews to help with your decision and many tasty items on their food menu ranging from pasta’s, burgers, bratwurst and pizza.

George’s Majestic Lounge
is a classic in Fayetteville nightlife offering a beer garden and live music.

Finally we end up at The Blue Parrot. The Blue Parrot is a private night club featuring a Caribbean theme and island bar. They serve frozen drink specialties.

I am moving to Fayetteville soon and I am trying to find a job at a bar or some bar/grill that I can work a few nights a week and make pretty decent money b/c I will be in school during the day. If anyone has any good ideas I'd appreciate it.

How do you not mention Grubbs? Best drink specials and by far the best place to be seen late in the evening. Best bar is probably On the Rocks in the Fall and Summer and Willy D's on Thursday nights. Good luck to Mandy who wants to get snuck in to the bar. It's been on lockdown since the recent string of underage college kids who have passed away with a bottle in hand. Maybe you should stick to Frat parties, they'll let you in as long as I'm correct in assuming Mandy is a female name. Probably wanna watch the Cowboy Kool-Aid, trashcan punch or whatever drugged up girl drink they're serving lately. I have traveled all over and haven't found a single street that caters to the nightlife crowd quite like Dickson. It should be Nationally known, it's that much better than a lot of famous streets, Bourbon and Beale included.

Dickson Theatre - Popular dance club, 18+, very mixed and diverse crowd (typically younger though). Speakeasy- Bar/dance, 21+, Vegas-style bar, typically less college students, doesn't get ful til after midnight Stir- where the barhopping starts, 21+, fun vibe, crowd moves out after midnight On the Rocks - good bar for twentysomethings. Willy D's- good fun for just chilling

Ryleighs is open it is now a two level bar! Go to the Boom Boom Room to listen to live music on the weekends, play darts, pool, and more,

My favorite bar is Ryleigh's Boom Boom Bar! It is a two level bar with air hockey, pool tables, darts, and live music. It is for sure Fayetteville's best kept secret beacause it sits just back far enough where the passer byers might just miss it.
