How resistance tubes or bands work
Elasticity is the main idea on which resistance tubes or bands are made. As elasticity creates resistance which demands force to be applied. Resistance level can be changed according to your body strength. Whether it is lifting or lowering, in both positions resistance is provided by resistance bands and tubes. To understand it more clearly you can take help of a rubber band, when you pull it from one side a force is applied and an opposite force prevents you from stretching the rubber band, that's why a larger amount of your body force is used in stretching that rubber band, in the same manner both resistance band and tubes also work. They are like a bigger band and when you pull the band against resistance your muscle work hard to stretch that, this result in toning up of your muscles.
