Disneyland is the place that dreams come true. I recently visited this wonderful place. I was so thankful to have my sister-in-law with me because she is a Disneyland Pro. Though this is a great place to go it is so helpful to go to the park the first time with a plan. Walt Disney was a man of vision and made this a place for all families to enjoy. If you want to get the most out of your visit to the park follow these steps.

1. Before you go take a look at the online information. Online you can find all the information you need to know. There is a map. List of services and a place to ask questions.

2. When you arrive at the park. If you are staying in the area leave your car at the hotel and walk. The parking garage is nice but it does cost money and you have to walk quite a ways to actually get to the attractions from the parking area. If you do park it cots $10 for the day and you will find that it is safe and user friendly.

3. After you go through the gate make sure to get a map and attraction information. Take a look at what they are offering as a "Fast Pass" for the day. There will be people to give you fast passes right at the gate. The Fast Pass will optimize your ability to ride the rides. Not all rides are fast pass but the ones that are are great. The great thing about the fast pass is that once you get it you have an hour window to go to that ride. You present your fast pass and get to go right to the front of the line. This will save much time and save you from being in line all day. Best of all, the fast pass is completely free.

4. I suggest getting a park hopper pass so you can also enjoy California Adventure. Both parks are wonderful. I do think that the food is much better in California Adventure.

5. On the information you received at the gate you will find a parade schedule. The Block Party at California Adventure is just awesome. I also suggest the Parade of Dreams at Disneyland.

Takeaways
  • Get the most out of your ride time at the park.
  • Traveling with babies is no problem.
  • Park hopper passes are the best as they offer the most enjoyment out of your visit.
