Signs Your Spouse is Cheating

When you are committed in a serious relationship there is always the chance of one person not being completely honest with the other about their feelings, needs or happiness. This can lead to serious unhappiness in the relationship or even into resenting the other person for holding them back from being able to fulfill their own needs and desires. Signs of unfaithfulness and deceit are often showcased, but most of the times these signs are overlooked because no one suspects anything. Not only can it be hard to read the signs, but some signs can be mistakenly labeled as "conspicuous" activities.

Staying at work late should be expected every now and again depending upon your partner's type of job, but it should not become an every night event. If you notice that your partner begins coming home from work late, you may want to keep track of the occurrences to find out if there is a pattern. It might start out as a gradual occurrence and then it turns into an every night event where you find them returning home increasingly later and later.

If you find that your mate is showering as soon as they get home then there is sure to be a reason. Showering and even using cologne or after shave before they are going "out" to somewhere like the hardware store, the bank or somewhere like that. Why do they need to be so freshened up when normally they don't care this much about their appearance? Does he or she put on that shirt you know is only worn for special occasions and go out without you? Do they give you vague answers when asked where they are going or will be?

Making excuses when they are asked where they have been. You know your mate and you should be able to tell if they are not telling you the truth. Stuttering or repeating the question that you just asked are common stalling tactics so that they may buy time to come up with something believable. Another red flag is if your loved one gets angered by your questioning them; they should be grateful that you care enough to be worried and find out why they were late.
