Lindsay Lohan with Cocaine, Pending DUI Charges - Still Likes to Party; Michael Lohan Speaks Out

On May 26, 2007, Lindsay Lohan, 20, smacked her car into a curb in Beverly Hills, CA at 5:30am. Police responding to the accident, and the car wreck, issued a summons for driving under the influence and arrested Lohan. Cocaine was also found in the car while her pride and common sense were left at home and out of reach.

Two days later, photographers from X17online.com captured a very inebriated Lohan passed out in the passenger side of Samantha Ronson's vehicle around 4am. Lindsay was wearing her "30 Days Sober" medallion.

With just days left until Paris Hilton stops the world and marches off to a celebrity prison, Lindsay Lohan has been working overtime to secure her place in the headlines. But now, Papa Lohan is stepping into the public spotlight (voluntarily) to share his thoughts.

A former inmate himself, Michael Lohan is taking his daughter and former wife (who he feels is responsible for Lindsay's behavior) to task over recent events.

"She needs to go, and my ex-wife should go with her," Michael explained to the New York Post.

"The writing was on the wall years ago, and when Lindsay was in (Los Angeles rehab center) Wonderland...give me a break. What kind of rehab facility lets people leave the grounds? They wanted the name Lindsay Lohan to stay there; they didn't want to help her. She needs a faith-based program."

Adding that she "needs to find God, get better, clean house and start all over again with the people who were there for her at the beginning."

"Too many people are around Lindsay for the wrong reasons. They want to see what they can get from her instead of caring about Lindsay herself. I'm her father. I don't want anything from her but her love and to be her father first. I'm here for Lindsay as a father and a father only."

Lohan then took a few swipes at Momma Lohan by saying that "if Dina really cared about the children, especially Lindsay, that she would do the right thing so we can both be there as parents. Because what Lindsay needs are both parents. I wish Dina would put things aside and act the way God wants us to: right the wrongs and not compound the wrongs."
