I packed my lunch, only worrying about whether or not I would be happy with the B L T I had packed. I headed out the door, kissing the kids goodbye, instructing them to be good for the sitter, as she was not their favorite. Imagine, any sitter being the kids favorite.I got in the car, turned on the radio and the air conditioner, and listened to classic on the way to work. My mind wandered. What kind of day would it turn out to be? Would it be a quiet one, or one filled with havoc ? Only time would let me know at the end of my day.

I pulled into the parking lot, and all appeared to be calm.I walked into the building, and greeted my fellow co workers with a big grin,as I usually do.Put away the lunch in the fridge, and went into the muster area.It was full and busy, with chatter, laughter and buzzing with gossip.I took my seat and awaited my assignment. My name was called, and I was instructed to report to the mental health ward!!!! Of course, I had been there several times in the past, but, it was not my favorite place to work.It was usually busy, and usually had a lot of problems associated with it. I though to myself, " O.K., it will be alright, it will go fast. I will keep myself busy"
I arrived at my work assignment in a timely manner, relieving the person at the desk. We exchanged greetings, and she passed all of her relevant information to me. She also stated that it had been a fairly calm day, and that she couldn't wait to get off of work due to her son being in a little league game. She was excited for him.We laughed and said our good byes. I began my duties by reading all of the notes placed in the log that was on the desk that pertained to all of the days activities.Nothing had "stuck out " and I was happy about that.A quiet day I thought.
