The Affect of Rising Prices and the New Starbury Sneakers on Steve & Barry's Clothing Store

The most popular store that has grown tremendously over the years is Steve & Barry's which features University apparel. Part of this reason why the store has become so popular is because of Steve & Barry's motto that everything is $7.99 or less. That expression has been since altered as rising prices have increased prices almost every year of all of the clothing store's merchandise. Now Steven & Barry's has called its new motto "Everything $14.99 or less." This new motto was also brought on by the new deal that the Steve & Barry's made with Stephon Marbury to be the exclusive seller of Starbury sneakers.

I recently was in the gym working out and a fellow next to me asked if I was wearing the new Starbury sneakers. I in fact was and then the man proceeded to have conversation with me about how he had looked everywhere for the sneaker but could not find it. That is because Steve & Barry's is the exclusive carrier of the shoe. This deal with Starbury sneakers has only brought more and more customers to the Steve & Barry's stores which have become a fast growing chain around the United States. Now a Steve & Barry's store can be found in almost every mall in America.

The Starbury sneakers have gained national acclaim because they are only $15 yet they are made very stylish and are of the same quality as any expensive sneaker like the Michael Jordan sneakers which sell for over $100 in stores. I myself own two different styles of Starbury sneakers because they are so cheap and look so good. Since Steve & Barry's wanted to stay consistent, they couldn't make their motto "Everything $8.99 or less except the Starbury sneakers." Instead the store made the motto include its highest price item which is also the most popular selling item right now in the entire country. So now their motto is "Everything is $14.99 or less."
