Summer Movie Preview: Ocean's 13, Knocked Up, Live Free or Die Hard

It's the year of the sequels, as some of the hottest franchises including Ocean's 11, Shrek, Pirates of the Caribbean, Die Hard and Spider-Man get third and fourth round installments. Ocean's 13:

Ocean's 13 is the sequel to Ocean's 12, which in turn was the sequel to Ocean's 11, which was a remake of the 1960 Rat Pack film Ocean's Eleven. Confirmed by director Steven Soderbergh as the final movie in the trilogy, the intricate heist film finale may be the best of the bunch. Ocean's 13 focuses on a motive of revenge rather than money and features Al Pacino as Willy Banks, the egotistical owner of a new casino that Danny Ocean (George Clooney) plans to hit on its opening night in order to avenge a friend who was swindled during its construction. Recruiting the help of former nemesis Terry Benedict (Andy Garcia), the group schemes to destroy the detested Banks. This marks the first time since 1990's The Godfather Part III that Garcia and Pacino will star in the same film. Is the impressive ensemble cast, including Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and Bernie Mac enough to win over tired crowds? You can bet on it.
