A Slacker's Guide to Mooching

When it comes to pushing the Working Moocher out of the house and trying to convince him or her that they need to move on, this type of moocher may say that they will begin the process of moving out of the house, but never actually will. For them, procrastination is the key and they will never actually move out of the house until much later.

The Independent Moocher

Opposite from the Dependent Moocher, the Independent Moocher will actually pay room, board, all of his or her personal expenses, and even may help out with the household chores. They are totally self-sufficient and just may be living at home because they don't want to move out on their own for a variety of reasons. The Independent Moocher is probably the easiest mooching individual to convince that he or she needs to move out, but gets along with their parents very well and does nothing to disrespect them or their house rules.

Of course, there are several more types of moochers and some other mooching individuals may have characteristics of all three types of moochers. But the three that have been thus defined are the major categories of moochers that live with their parents for some reason or another, but also are the ones that should be pushed out of the house simply because they need a taste of what the real world will give them! If you're living with a Moocher, being aware of what type they are may just help you convince them to change their ways and move out!
