The Summertime Honeymoon Guide
Many couples choose summer for their weddings. Who can blame them? There's just something more pleasant about warm weather and summer weddings. If you're planning your own wedding and are at the stage of planning the honeymoon, there are some important things to consider. Let's take a
look at those now.
The Wedding Night
Most couples that get married stay one night in town before hopping on a plane and hitting the friendly skies on their way to paradise. It's important to make your wedding night memorable. Don't cut corners when it comes to the nice honeymoon suite. If possible, make your first night together as special as can be.
Finding the right hotel
When choosing the hotel, it might be a good idea to select one close to the airport. Call or surf the web and see what sorts of honeymoon suites they have available. What is most important to you concerning the suite? Room service? Jacuzzi? Other amenities? Remember, you'll only stay at the hotel one night, so select a room that has special features you can use.
Honeymooners in hotels are usually treated with the works: Strawberries and chocolates, beautiful fresh cut flowers, chilled champagne in fancy glasses, terrycloth robes, private terrace dinner, and etc.
Selecting a Honeymoon Destination
For many newlyweds, the islands are the way to go. Newlyweds want the ocean, the sand, tropical trees and a perfect island setting for their honeymoon. Some, on the other hand, prefer the mountains or a cruise at sea. The key is to talk it over and figure out what fits you best.
To Cruise or Not to Cruise
Cruises allow you to see several destinations along the way, without spending a whole lot of time in one particular place. If you're taking a Caribbean cruise, you will enjoy a variety of islands, both for beach bumming and for shopping. If you want to upgrade and go to even more exotic destinations, Mediterranean cruises can be a popular honeymoon package for you.
