If you're looking for an out-of-the-ordinary summer experience, then without a doubt, the Creation Museum in Petersburg, Kentucky is the place for you. Having drawn in over 4,000 attendees on its Grand Opening, Monday, May 28, Ken Ham's Creation Museum is sure to this summer's number one hot spot for Creation Science enthusiasts and die-hard Evolutionists alike. Everyone already has his or her preconceived notions about Creation Science, but there's no better place to find the answers to your burning science questions than here.

Ken Ham, president and co-founder of Answers in Genesis (a nonprofit organization focused on educating the general public about Creation Science), helmed the Creation Museum program during its development and is currently under media scrutiny for publicizing what many consider to be a false theory of natural existence. But with the help of co-founder Mark Looy, and Patrick Marsh, creator of the King Kong and Jaws exhibits at the Universal Studios theme park, Ken Ham's creation displays bring to life more than just a story. They exhibit a little-known but widely condemned truth.

Aside from serving as a mere tourist attraction, the Creation Museum also functions as an educational installment, although mainstream scientists and high school teachers would dare you to think otherwise. The Creation Museum has been dubbed as a "theme park without the rides" by some, and "an amusement park at best" by others. With or without the help of its naysayers, however, the Creation Museum will nonetheless attract visitors in the thousands searching for old truths in a refreshing new presentation.

This is not a museum, but a roadside attraction. Ken Ham found a nice way to make a buck, but the only education that can be received here is that while ostriches may not bury their head in the sand, a percentage of religious folk do.

Thank you both for such kind comments. It's sad but true that places like this get so much negative media attention right from the get-go. If it were an Evolution museum opening, the whole world would hear of its glory, but since this is a Christian organization, people like to bad-mouth it before ever giving it a chance.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS. I FOR ONE HAVE BEEN BATTLING THE "EVIL EMPIRE OF EVOLUTION" TEACHINGS IN THE SCHOOLS FOR YEARS. AT BEST EVOLUTION IS ONLY A "POSSIBLE SCENARIO" - NOT EVEN A THEORY. IT IS GOOD TO KNOW THAT THIS MUSEUM IS WELL-GROUNDED IN THE BIBLE AND IS ALSO EVANGELISTIC for I AM TOLD FROM OTHER SOURCES THAT THERE ARE TRAINED PERSONNEL WHO ARE ON HAND TO ANSWER SPIRITUAL QUESTIONS AND LEAD ANYONE TO THE LORD WHO SO DESIRES. CONGRATULATIONS ON THE MUSEUM AND THIS VERY WELL STATED ARTICLE.
